Each year Evan teaches a two-week class on Christian Science healing. Students learn about God as infinite Love, the healing power of Christ, and their relationship to God and Christ. They learn how to give Christian Science treatments, how to heal through prayer, and how to start a public healing practice.
The purpose of the course is to fulfill the healing promises of the Bible in the everyday lives of students. Jesus Christ promised, "Anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works..."(John 14:12). Pupils finish the course ready to pray for themselves and others with confidence and find healing.
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy, is used as a textbook to understand how to heal spiritually as the Bible teaches.
Students who successfully complete class instruction with Evan become members of his Christian Science Association, which meets once a year for a full day of continuing education on how to improve one's practice of spiritual healing.
